I know it's odd that a person in his 20s is still watching kids' animation but often times that's an exception and Cookie Jar's Busytown Mysteries (aka "Hurray for Huckle") is one of them

Unlike Care Bears AiCaL, Busytown Mysteries revisits the world of the late Richard Scarry's Busytown quite well

Voice Overs may sound off for those who still love/remember CiNAR's "The Busy World of Richard Scarry" but they are in need of getting use to however, they fit the characters as well as they could.

The visual style is similar of that of Random House Home Video/Jumbo Pictures' direct to video "Richard Scarry's The Best Video Ever" series as in they look like they jumped out of the books of which they came from

Flash animation is fluent and not laden with dead giveaway limitations like other Canadian made flash cartoons and unlike other flash cartoons made in Canada (which are often crap like Atomic Betty), Busytown Mysteries is a very decent show for kids and those beyond it's target audience

However seeing this is a show aimed at young kids (mostly preschoolers) [then again, this show shares the same block with "Sabrina: The Animated Series", a toon aimed at teens] you would expect annoyances but thankfully the annoyances is basically on a level of that of the number of how many times Rabbit and his pals spew catchprases in a single episode of "My Friend Rabbit" and those annoyances are as follows: Pig Will and Pig Won't's bumbling and bickering and Gold Bug's reporting of the mystery will moderately drive you nuts even if your watching this show on the authority of you loving Richard Scarry back when you were a kid

i rate it... MUST WATCH!

summary of rating
==============
PRO: Accurate to the late Richard Scarry's world, similarly watchable to Nelvana's (Toonboom produced) "My Friend Rabbit", Busytown never went a single piece of bastardization unlike that of Care Bears: Adventures in Care-A-Lot

CON: Gold Bug's reporting almost annoying as MFR's rapid use of their catchpraises, Fans of CiNAR's "Busy World of Richard Scarry" might get turned off by the new voices of the characters, Pig Will and Pig Won't is practically useless in every episode

Busytown Mysteries airs on CBS on Saturday Mornings as part of the current line up of the "Cookie Jar TV" block
airtimes: 7:00am, 8:00am and 11:00am (all timeslots listed are new episodes, Tripple the Huckle...Tripple the Fun!) (NOTE: If your reading this and live outside the US and If this show is airing in countries outside the US, check your listings and ignore the airing details)
Here's my review of Cookie Jar's new series "Busytown Mysteries"

Wow, that show was part of my childhood ever since 2009 or 2010.
